Friday
Very wet day. Maurice and K did separate things. K went to MoMA while M went to music shops. Went to Bagel Maven for breakfast and then popped into MSG to ask about cameras. M went on a train that didn't stop till 79 th and then had to just get off and get on a train back. Came back to find no guitar shops, went to Hard Rock then got subway back to hotel. Went out 1.30 for his lunch to Pad Thai. K was meantime at MoMA - huge queue in the rain to get in! Saw all the famous paintings that I wanted to! Including The Scream! Had lunch in MoMA and bout a Frank Lloyd Wright scarf. Then walked all the way back via Macy's where I bought a small handbag.Came back to room around 3.45 and rested until getting ready for Crossroads.
Seats were excellent, gig was great although over long. Guys next to us were smoking dope periodically. M was v tired by the end. Got pizza again for him and saw Quinn Sullivan in the hotel when we got back.
